mike's a good friend of mine, as well as being my throwing mentor, and I made him a kilt for Christmas last year. It made the rounds of the season, and so I thought I'd share a few pictures of the "Hammer Kilt" in action.. Somewhere in upstate New York, or something... Caber at the Celtic Classic... Mike, after dropping the winning caber toss at Celtic... Mmike and Matt Vincent.... pleat shot. Mike and Bella. When I made Mikes kilt, I took the leftover stuff and made Bella a little box pleat kilt, which by all reports, she wears a LOT....and knows it's KILT, too, "just like Daddy's". I'd say that was a kiltmaking success story.
