Thread: Out and about!

    Out and about!

My family and I took a wander around Fort Rodd Hill and the wife snapped a few shots worth sharing.

    Defying the wind,
    [IMG][/IMG]
    Attempting the "Hamish"
    [IMG][/IMG]
    Taking a leap,
    [IMG][/IMG]
My daughter showing off the kilt I made her.
    [IMG][/IMG]
And enjoying a good bit of snow that is unusual for Victoria

    Cheers

Nice pics. You live in my favorite part of the world...home is a bit south of you in Washington, though I'm elsewhere right now. The whole area from southern Oregon up to Alaska is heaven on earth!
The grass is greener on the other side of the fence...and it's usually greenest right above the septic tank.

Oh, nice guy Jackson. You pick my brain about making this kilt for your daughter and don't even let me see the finished product.

I think you just failed your final exam. Back to cleaning house and babysitting for you.

It's also a very good thing you didn't post the grate photo. I'd have to get the forum owner to revoke your membership.

Don't worry folks, this is an inside joke between kiltedwolfman and I.

    I wear the kilt because:

Great pics. I thought you were used to lots of snow like us in Norway, but then again Victoria BC is located a bit more south from the north Pole then Norway.

Those are smashin' pictures KWM and a nice looking Buchanan you've put together for your girl. I bought a Kilt for my daughter in Lindsay Modern so that we could go out together in matching tartans. So won't wear it though because it's "boys clothes". Mind she is only four.

Some people are SO photogenic (and some people have spouses who can take wonderful photos -- kudos to Michelle)......

Now, I do have a question....you are not standing in the snow on top of any of my poor flowers, are you?

LOL I missed the flowers by a couple of inches Bobbie.

The kilt for my daughter started out as a skirt I bought at a thrift shop. I pulled the whole thing apart, turned it into one piece of length and the rebuilt it so to speak. I ended up have to make each pleat a different size in order to have any kind of decent appearance to them but she likes it and that's good enough for me.
