Out and about in kilt this weekend

    Evening all,

Had a busy lineup this weekend. Decided to get out a couple of the kilts for a fun filled weekend.

Friday went to the Zest Fest. A hot pepper trade show here in DFW. Went casual there. Trust me I don't stand out in the slightest there. Went with my NWU kilt. Here it is with my favorite vendor -

Next was up to Norman OK for their annual Chocolate Festival. Decided to go with an acrylic wool. It is a cheaper kilt but a chocolate festival is bound (and was) to be dangerous to material. Couple of the "booth babes" volunteered for the pictures -

This evening was dinner at a fancy restaurant (using Christmas gift card) as an excuse to wear the new argyle, waistcoat and dress sporran. Amy forbade a camera at dinner of this place so it is a standard pose at the side door -

Tomorrow will be working in the kitchen and with the smoker. Neither very healthy for a kilt.

    Jim

The glasses are kind of my thing. I am photophobic and even what most people concider normal or dim light can be uncomfortable for my so I wear shades quite a bit.

As for the black tone while I do like it I had originally planned to wear a white but I have three. One, I just got, needed cuff links but couldn't find them. The second has my company logo. The third looks like it was bought to wear without a tie as if I could have button it it would have acted like a tourniquet and never put a tourniquet on a head wound

So black on black it was.
