Out For A Hike
It was a beautiful day yesterday with temps in the 30's so TK and I decided to hit the hills and try and get some good pics of the changing colors. Waited a few days too long so the colors weren't as vibrant as we had hoped but it was still pretty and had a very good hike.

A couple shots of me enjoying my happy spot

TK "waiting for the bus". Always forget that I have video capability with my camera. She was really cute just swinging her legs like a little kid.

A couple of overall scenic shots

Awesome view. I had a great view from the roof today while cleaning the gutters.

Great pictures. Thanks for posting. Looks like wonderful hiking terrain and conditions. What river is that? It's too small to be the Missouri, isn't it?
I was going to write that I really like your hose, and then I saw your sweater, and was going to add sweater, and then I noticed that great-looking kilt, ... etc., etc. So, all-in-all a great outfit, especially for hiking, ... including your hiking stick.
Maybe TK was hoping you would carry her for stretch.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Nice photos, thanks for sharing. It was a rather quick and less than stellar fall this year in Mid Missouri. Seems our months of drought and heat really had its effect. My trail run has suddenly become a wade through the dry leaves. Regardless it is perfect temps for a hike or run here in Missouri and Ill be on the trails in about an hour for a run, yes in my running kilt. Again thanks for sharing..

This the Meramec river. Thanks. One must always try to look good. hhahhaa.. She did very well, though I may have had to carry her if it we had gone much further. LOL

Yes, we really didn't much red here. Drought killed us. But yes, gotta love these temps! Makes you want to be out all the time!

No no. He had just opened a new browser to answer a question, that I then tried to answer without knowing he already had done so.
But the next time he drags me up hill and dale for the sake of "a view", he'd best have a bottle of water for me.

Mickey,
Thanks for sharing the pictures. I grew up hiking along the Meramec, ss s Boy Scout. Nice to see the hills and trees in your wonderful photos. My guess is you were out in Lone Elk or Castlwood Parks. Am I close?
