Phoenix Raw art/fashion show
A friend of mine "Candice" was involved in a Raw art/fashion show featuring her f/x makeup last night. She did a fantastic job and her models were top notch. I got gussied up in my Black Stewart tartan looking sharper than men half my age. Love it when the ol' guy gets more attention then the young strapping lad, even had 2 beautiful mid-aged lasses buy me a beer.Very cool vibes from all creatives involved. Wish I had a real camera w/ me to capture all the funky hair, fashion, art, photog. jewelry... blabla. You will have to settle for these crappy phone fotos. And yes... the fairy was a huge hit, for sure she will go viral, enjoy.

There was a time when I could be seen at a Rocky Horror picture show dressed in costume doing the time warp.....ah, in a land long ago and far away....
I am sure the makeup close up was outrageous!
You look very nice in your kilt. Thanks for the pictures

My apologizes if I have offended anyone with these photos.
The thread was flagged and removed temporarily.
I just tried to delete the image that caused the fuss with no success, in fact It appears to be on its own now.
Moderator, If you could help with the deletion of said "fairy" image, I would appreciate it.
Thanks, —T

No worries, TJ. It was probably the boobs. I, for one, enjoyed your post. That effects makeup takes a seriously talented person (and often many hours) to do, especially the prosthetics!

Folks,
This post gives me a good example to give you some insight to what happens in the background among the Moderators.
We often get complaints that this forum is over moderated. We sometimes hear from members complaining that posts just disappear or are closed for no reason.
This post was flagged to the Moderators saying that perhaps the photos were getting close to bumping rule #3. The report did not say that the member was offended but simply a head's up to the Moderators that a photo was posted that could possibly be over the line.
This is what flagging a post is all about. Perhaps no Moderator was on-line at the moment. Flagging a post sends an instant email to every Moderator. They know to look for the flag as soon as they can log on.
It is also possible that the member simply wishes to bring something to the attention of the Moderators.
The Moderators are required to look at, and vote on, every flagged post. They do not make arbitrary judgement calls. They vote base only on the published rules. Does this post violate the rules or not. Yes, or No.
In this case the result of the voting was that the post and photos do not violate the rules. Some moderators spoke up and said that they have seen more skin in a bikini ad.
While the voting was progressing the post was temporarily placed in our Holding Cell.
Now that the voting is complete, and no violation found, the post is returned to its original location.
The Staff wish to thank the OP for their patience during this process and also for their input to the deliberations.
This post is a very good example of the process we use on X Marks. No one ran to the Moderators because they were thin skinned or offended. The results of the Moderators were based solely on the published rules and not on someone scared to see a little skin.
All is well and the system did what it was designed to do. Please continue to enjoy the photos.

What boobs? I like her ears.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.
