Pic from the past
Found a pic from a few years ago. Here is our good friend Archie and myself at my pals mums 80th birthday party. Archie used to be the piper in our old folk rock band. We did some great gigs together. At this party, I carried the birthday cake into the hall and Archie piped it in. It was a good night. In conjunction to another thread about what has been handed or inherited down ... Archies kilt is the only kilt he has and it was his grandmothers who gave it to him 60yrs ago. He wears it frequently and its still in brill knick ..

Will post some pics of a wedding some of us from our current folk band played at yesterday. It was a fun day.

50 years and still going strong. More proof a well made kilt is an investment which will last a lifetime (and probably two.)

More like 60 years according to Derek!
When I see photos of such kilts looking as if they were made yesterday I wonder what our own will look like after such time!

Great photo Derek, but who is the young fella in the green jacket?
Take care,
Ham.

I'm not sure, but it looks an awfully lot like Sean Connery.
