Piccies '0 Falkirk 1
Despite the Howgate window situation, the town of Falkirk is still well worth a visit, it's steeped in history and is supposed to have the best choices for shopping in Scotland. Here are some piccies from my visit:
The Falkirk Steeple, built in 1814.

The Old Parish Church.

Detail on an old tomb in the Kirkyard.

Tomb of a Hanoverian soldier, killed during the second Battle of Falkirk whilst fighting against Prince Charlie's forces.

Friend Andrew in front if a celtic cross in the Kirkyard. He used to live in the Falkirk area so it was quite nostalgic for him.

A different angle on the Old Parish Church.

More to follow!

Thank you so much for the photo tour...!
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

Great pics, keep em coming. I like to show them to my wife as she has never been over the pond. She has traveled throughout the states but is still somewhat parochial in her outlook.
