Pics! Fergus Highland Games

The Fergus (Ontario) Highland Games were held this past weekend and a good time was had by all. Here are some pics from the weekend. Once again, anyone who was there, please share your pics also!

The fireworks began just after we arrived. We just caught the end of the tattoo and I certainly won't be missing that next year.

Once the camping situation was sorted out, a trip to the beer tent was in order but I didn't snap any photos of that.

Day 1 of Clan Tent and Clan parade activities. I'm waiting on photos of the actual parade and opening ceremonies which were taken on another camera but I'll upload them asap.

Ewan Cameron of Clan Cameron is a fixture at our Tartan Tuesday events and a gentleman. He purchased one of the sticks I made as a gift for one of his fellow Clan Cameron volunteers.

I'm glad you posted these pics, Nathan. I need to go to that event sometime within the near few years. My great-grandfather Maitland was born in Guelph, and I have some genealogical research to do on him and his father and mother, who both came from Scotland. It would be great to combine both trips and kill one bird...

Great idea considering Fergus and Guelph are a 10 minute drive apart!
