A picture of our special day
I really love this picture of my wedding last month especially my beautiful wife though I'm slightly letting the side down a bit. To be fair I am braving the heat of Sri Lanka in layers of Tweed The outfit was hired I'm afraid as I left it too late to have one made but I have caught the bug now...I'm now having a kilt handmade in the Macdonald of the Isles Hunting Weathered tartan.

Congratulations to you both. I have to say that the coast of Sri Lanka, beautiful though it is, is almost the last place in the world that I would want to wear the kilt-----even for my wedding! Up country, is just bearable, on occassion.

Congratulations to you and your lovely bride.
But I gotta say it- when I'm in the tropics tweed and other wool is usually passed up in favour of linen.

Wonderful photo! You're handsomely turned-out, the bride is beautiful, and the palm trees and ocean in the background literally complete the picture. Congratulations to you and your lovely Mrs. and may you have many years of happiness.

Thanks to all for the best wishes, married life couldn't be better so far.
Jock I know what you mean but I had no choice in the matter, my wife said she wasn't going to marry me if I didn't wear the kilt. Actually the kilt was fine and I felt a lot better once I had ditched the jacket after the ceremony.
