Pleasanton games 2013 (things other than kilts)
We attended on Saturday and took in some of the non-kilt related sights. Here are some photos we took. First, some lovely British autos.

And my lovely with a British auto

I think this one is my favorite

Here are a few for Thistledown from the Falconers and Birds of Prey exhibit.

They had a place where you could pay (funds to support the Birds of Prey rescue group) to pose with the birds while friends or family took your photo.

We also took in some music, our favorite being "The Brown Sisters with George Cavanaugh" (Youtube them) a great Celtic folksy kind of band. We look forward to seeing them each year

And one of the crowd's (and Rocky's) favorites, Albanach

Ok, that's it from me folks. I hope to see some of you here in the future!

How I love those cars! Too bad I didn't get over to that area this year.
One of our pipers shows his vintage Jaguar at the Costa Mesa Games oftentimes.
I attend the LA Auto Show every year, and never fail to visit the Morgan pavilion.

Oh how this cracked me up.....
At our Maine Games a few weeks ago. In the early morning hours that we were all getting set up, a gentleman drove in the fairgrounds in an awesome old car (sorry gents, if it were a horse, I could have told you all the details) but it was an old Jag type and everybody stopped to watch as he drove in.,waving as he noticed that people were stopping to watch....and I in humor as I noted his kilt trapped under the door, as he drove by waving at everyone.

Just because you are paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you.

I used to own a MG TD, but sadly sold it a number of years ago. Great pictures!
