At the QBP

The QBP is The Queens Birthday party. My wife and I were invited along to the British Embassy in Oslo on the occasion of Queen Elizabeth's official birthday celebrations. She unfortunately could not attend but the Ambassador made sure we had a great time with Pims on the lawn and plenty of food to eat.
I thought I'd share a few kilts pics with you

Very smart and you wife looks terrific as well - what a pity we don't have a national dress for ladies here in Scotland. By the look of the kilties the Embassy must have wondered if there had been an invasion fron Scotland!Can I ask what tie you are wearing?

Thanks for that. I couldn't see it clearly and wondered if it was a Bank of Scotland tie which it resembles closely. Douglas Jay always used to wear one.
