    Really pleased

Just on a whim yesterday I googled some kilt hire shops. I chose one to phone to ask if they had any ex hire kilts for sale. The one I phoned did. They had all the dimensions I asked for in the kilt and they described the tartan to me. It was an 8yd strome ... excellent condition ... they sold it to me for £70 inc next day delivery. It arrived this morning and fits like a glove ... the other good news is they had two identical, so I have phoned this morning and the other one is on its way to me .. same price ... gotta be done! .. will explain to the mrs when she gets home later ... they said its a modern tartan called Glencairn

Will post some pic again when its out in the wilds ..

Wow! That's a beauty, Derek. Can't wait to see it in some pictures of one of your epic walks through the Welsh countryside.

    Nice catch Derek.
Though you won't be able to wear both of them at the same time.

Derek: Beautiful tartan. Can't beat the price on the kilts. Great find. Tell the mrs that you bought one for her.

I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Outstanding. Or try this on the Mrs., "They were twins and I couldn't bear to break up the family—so I adopted them both.
