The other day my wife and I visited the Pembrokeshire coast. As you can see it is spectacular and rocky. http://i1193.photobucket.com/albums/...s/100_2076.jpg There were some seals visible in the rocks below. The kilt is Ancient Sutherland, which I have had for around thirty years. I am glad to say it still fits, although the buckles are done up a notch or two further out these days. http://i1193.photobucket.com/albums/...s/100_2082.jpg The coast looks out on the Atlantic and is warmed in winter by the North Atlantic Drift from the Gulf of Mexico. The rocky cliffs have a variety of flora and fauna that benefits from the mild winters. http://i1193.photobucket.com/albums/...s/100_2085.jpg The views are impressive. http://i1193.photobucket.com/albums/...s/100_2087.jpg Later we visited St David's Cathedral. St David's is little more than a large village, far from cities. A Cathedral has stood here since around 650-750 and the present building dates from the late twelfth century. http://i1193.photobucket.com/albums/...s/100_2092.jpg The Bishop's Palace, built from 1327, is larger than the Cathedral, although now ruins. The employment it generated must have been enormous - construction, food production, domestic servants and so on ... http://i1193.photobucket.com/albums/...s/100_2094.jpg Now it's back to work!

The area seems so beautiful. Your pictures, the pictures Derek has posted... all my other travel plans are shifting to the background and Wales is taking over first place. Thank you for sharing.
