The Red Thistle Dancers at the Sacramento Highland Games

I am part of the Red Thistle Dancers performance group and we danced two shows on Saturday at the Sacramento Highland Games last Saturday. I had friends take a few photos of our Highland and Scottish Country Dancing that I wanted to share with my fellow X Markers.

You guys are the Red Thistle Dancers why not wear red hose?

My wife and I had a lot of fun watching, and actually recognizing the dance moves. We go to Scottish Country Dance class every Friday night. It was great seeing you and some of the other Xmarkers at the games. We will be working our schedules to hopefully make it to Pleasanton.

Well, it wasn't the worst floor we have danced on…but it added some challenges…

As for your suggestion I have to say that red hose wouldn't work very well with a number of our gentlemen's tartans...
