Thanks, Mael, for getting such good photos (hope you enjoyed the evening!). Rabble: that's me in photo #4, signalling the famous "haggis scoring a touchdown" part of "Address to a Haggis"

Ern.... I took another look at your pictures ...great sporran. I also love the "self tie" bow tie. It gets a bit more "eccentric" looking as the evening progresses and truly distinguishes one from the "ready tied" crowd. .... Well done!

Thanks, Bill. The goat hair sporran is a clone of the one that OC Richard has. It's a real conversation piece and the ladies swoon over it. Many times, well they just have to stroke it.

You know I love bowties. I have about 50 of them. This one had a mind of its own. I used another in our Burns night here (Fredericksburg) yesterday and another amazing sporran; a RRS horse hair. I'll be posting pics later tonight of that event.

I too love bow ties, ( actually ties period, but bow ties are indeed special). Ties are easy to collect without one's better half suggesting a reduction due to loss of closet space, and you don't out grow them. I have long admired OCR's sporran as well.
