Robbie Burns Sunday at my church
Well, since Robbie Burns Day fell on a Sunday this year, we invited our very small congregation to "Tartan up"

and several of them responded

but then of course, one of our parishioners being Italian had a limited number of tartan items in his wardrobe... but he DID wear the one tartan item he had!

and a good time was had by all!

Great idea. It does look like everyone was enjoying themselves. Our minister mentioned several poets in his sermon today, but did not mention Rabbie Burns. You can be sure that I let me know he missed the most important one, and on his birthday!

Father Bill: Small, but very Scottish-looking contingent. Congratulations! Happy Robert Burns Day!
Love the plaid underwear. Not sure I could find those in New Mexico, ... or find the courage to wear them.

I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Fruit of the Loom produce them. If you are feeling brave, and cannot find them, I would be happy to send you some of mine.

Good on the fellow with the tartan underwear for getting in the spirit... By any means necessary!

Thanks for the thoughtful offer, but I'm pretty much a BVD jockey.

Glad everyone had a grand time. I also have quite a collection of tartan boxers (I know, TMI, but I cannot always wear a kilt).

You all look great... and another nod to the gent that was "proving" he wore tartan even if not readily viewable.
