I remember the aspens turning orange and gold in the fall, Hawk.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

Yeah, I love it! It's my favorite time of the year, I think. I also look forward to getting some winter pictures.

Chama...
Someone needs to come up with a tartan to reflect the changing aspens, and the Southwest's multi colored corn maize.

I designed it! Now I need to get it made!
My description:
Yellow for the fall colors of the Rocky Mountains, brown for the sleeping grass, black for the skin of the iron horses that run in the mountains, grey/denim blue for their breath and for our beautiful sky, green for the evergreen trees!
"What inspired the design?" It was at the suggestion of a friend. The beauty of Fall in the Rockies, and love of our heritage.

Sounds Good, Nighthawk, I didn't know you had designed a tartan already.
There should be a corn tartan with yellow, white, red, light blue, dark blue, black, and green. Lots of dark blue.

Nice pictures, Nighthawk.
You refer to the steam line as a “little railroad” – it looks as if it could be a 3ft 6in gauge track, which you folk in the US generally call narrow gauge, but for us in Southern Africa it is standard gauge.
Our narrow gauge lines (and there are only two left!) are 2ft wide.
