Just a few shots from our day at the Round Hill Games in Norwalk, CT. We had perfect weather, which made for an absolutely lovely day. Opening Ceremonies: Parade of Clans and Bands: Clan Village: MacTalla Mo'r (Celtic Rock Band out of NY): Caber Tossing, they actually broke the big Caber, so they ended up using their smaller caber and competing for distance: End of the day, Massing of the Bands: All in all a lovely day. Of course, in my world, any day spent surrounded by Bagpipes and mesmirized by kilt swish is a day well spent.

Wonderful pictures. Thank you.
Nice photos! Did you get any shots of the mansion? This park was a estate built in the 1930 by Industrialist Edward Gallaher. The games take place on the back and side lawn. Here's a shot of the mansion I found from a previous year.

I didn't get any good shots of the mansion. Of course, I ended up not getting nearly as many pictures as I had intended. Next year, maybe.
How can you not dig a rock band with pipes? Thanks for sharing.
It was a great time. Sorry I didn't get to meet you. Great seeing so many people and MacTalla Mor for the first time in a couple years. I will certainly go next year.
Perhaps I'll see you at the Scotland, CT games on Oct 12th?
Yes. I plan to be at Scotland. Also at Glasgowlands on 7/19. My daughter and I will be competing - she on snare and me on pipes.
