Saltire over the Yorkshire dales & other winter scenes

A photo opportunity if ever there was one. A couple of contrails form the Saltire over an old lead mining smelt mill chimney on the fells (glen) of the Yorkshire dales . Taken on Friday.

Re: Saltire over the Yorkshire dales & other winter scenes

Nice pics. It is nice to have pics from a location less than 3000 miles from me, in Stockton on Tees.

    Kind regards.

While my mum was born in Scotland, my da was born in Yorkshire and loved the dales. Thanks for the great photos.
