San Juan Mountain Meadow
On the way up into the San Juan Mountains of Colorado Sunday morning took a little rest break to just soak up the beauty of the mountains.

T-shirt is from this year's Verde Valley Highland Games.

Kilt doesn't show well due to the tartan colors and being in the shade....but its my USA Kilts MacLean Hunting in semi-trad.

Wow!!! What a great place. Makes me want to pitch a tent and spend a while.
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

Man that's beautiful! Perfect spot to build a cabin. Well, maybe not. Don't fancy the look of those boulders in front of you - falling rock zone I'd guess.
