Scottish Wedding Kilt Pic
Hello All! I am a kilt newbie but recently got a chance to wear my kilt (for the second time ever) at a wedding in St. Andrews, Scotland. The wedding, and Scotland, were a delightful experience and I wanted to share a halfway decent picture of me in my finery...
Regards,
Scott

Looking good in a great setting. Now we need to see that kilt in Austin.

Nice pic. Looks like the photo was taken in St. Salvator's Quadrangle at St. Andrews University. Brings back happy memories, my daughter graduated from St. Andrews University in 2004.

Ya look fine... but where's the picture of the bride? I'd wager she looked a heckuvalot better than you did!

As Father Bill says, where is the bride? You look good, by the way, and very representative of how most dress at a Scottish wedding. I would still like to see the bride though.

Thank you all for the kind words! I felt very comfortable in the kilt (it helped that there were dozens of other men so attired). I am slightly proud of the fact that a Scot at the wedding said I rocked the kilt and a random young lady called it dashing LOL!
As for the wedding, I was a guest and not the groom! I was accompanied by my amazing and beautiful girlfriend, who was a good friend of the bride and the reason I was there in the first place. She knew how much I was itching to wear the kilt!
Here is a picture of the two of us later that evening.
