Scottish Wildcat Tartan kilt suit at the Kincardine Highland Games

I wanted to share these photos here as today was the first wear for my Scottish Wildcat Tartan kilt suit. We went to the Kincardine Highland Games, it was a glorious day weather wise and a wonderful games. I got a lot of questions about the tartan and was inundated with photo requests. Here are 2 of the shots from the day.

Also I wanted to thank everyone at the Scottish Company for making my dream outfit come true. I am the designer of the Scottish Wildcat Tartan and have wanted a kilt suit in the tartan since I designed it. I got some more yardage and had the talented staff at the Scottish Company pull it all together. The attention to detail and the skill of the tailor are second to none and to my mind the price was reasonable. The entire staff listened to my ideas and requirements and did not bat an eye to any of it. Yesterday I wore my kilt suit for the first time to the Kincardine Highland Games where I was inundated with questions and compliments on my outfit. Thanks again.

Since I'm also in these photos, I wanted to add that the kilt suit looked absolutely tremendous is person. Top notch! People were stopping Glen to talk about it a lot.

I knew I should have gone to Kincardine. The suit looks great Glen. I noticed it in the Tartan Tuesdays photo too and thought "wow that's a great looking suit".

As well you should have been. Many tartans yield an "over the top" look in suit quantity, but thanks to good design
and wonderful color choices, yours manages to be quite dignified and lovely. It even has an air of sublety I've never
seen before in a tartan suit of any other tartan.

Thank you so much for your words I am humbled by them and am always encouraged that much more when seeing how well received the tartan is

I have got to get a kilt in that tartan eventually. Good cause and beautiful design. I love it!

    Hear, hear!

    My feelings exactly.

I've seen that tartan in person, photos don't do it justice.

It does a thing few modern tartans do: it looks simultaneously traditional and utterly fresh.

It also, as you say, achieves subtlety, something in short supply in most recent tartans, which seem determined to bludgeon the viewer over the head rather than beguile the eye.
