    The Secret Tearooms

For a very long time we have been promising ourselves a trip to the illusive tearooms that exist beyond the Red Cow. So yesterday we decided we would go and find them. It would be a 10mile round walk.

So if you up for coming along, here is the trip ..
We set off on an early bus

I realised on the bus my Cilt matched the buses' deco …

As soon as we got off the bus we were on to the tracks and little country lanes

This one is for Jamie … a Buzzard .. We also seen quite a few during the walk plus many Jays and one beautiful Nuthatch.

    And passed many upland farms

Then as if by magic we spotted the illusive sign

And in through the gate we went and around the back where we found the entrance

Once inside it was really super cosy and very quaint

They came and took our order .. First to arrive was the tea .. It was proper tea in a teapot with loose tea in it and a separate strainer.

Then after a little wait the freshly made Welsh Cakes and Scone arrived. It was all delicious

Then we went outside for a while in the tearooms garden .. The views of the surrounding hills and forests were lovely.

Then it was time to head off ..

The weather turned a little and we went through a few sporadic showers

    Back on to tracks again

Passed these Mushrooms .. don't know what variety they are

The views on the way back were fab

Then eventually we home’d in back at headquarters where it was a hustle n bustle inside. We supped a couple of beers.

Then we got the bus back .. Hope you enjoyed the trip

Derek, you either live in a stunningly lovely part of the world or you're one heck of a good photographer or, most likely, both. Thanks for taking us along on the trip.

Lovely photos, Derek. Thanks for sharing. The Welsh cakes and scones look absolutely delicious! I'm sure the tea was as well.

    Cheers,
