    September Wedding

I decided to mix the kilt outfit up a bit this past weekend for a friend's wedding. I have been a pretty standard white dress shirt kind of guy with my dressier nights out, so I thought that mixing it up would be fun.

I decide to wear my machine sewn 13 oz Lochcarron Weathered MacKenize (from scottishkilts.net) to the weddding instead of the handsewn 16 oz Ancient Watson. I paired itwith my black dress shirt and dark silver tie (which matches the kilt quite well suprisingly).

I am sure some will find fault somewhere, but I thought it looked quite sharp and I got quite a few comments. I even had some of the groom's family taking my photo as they had never seen a man in a kilt. What are you guys in Georgia doing wrong?

Anyway, here is my lovely wife and I before leaving for the wedding.

Sorry about the quality of the picture, someone else was using my new camera and the auto focus was too much for them.

I think the outfit looks very well put together Colin! I really like the dark shirt and lite tie and that Tartan is beautiful.

I think it works fine, as a guest at the wedding it fits nicely.

You two look great, Colin! I like the dark shirt light tie combo too.

Who's going to find fault? Looks sharp...is sharp. Look at it as helping to create that Twenty-First Century North American Kilted Style.

Colin - You did it right! Good color choices! Brings the kilt into the 21st century very nicely.

Of course, standing beside a beautiful lady always makes us men look better!!

The words "contemporary" and "handsome" seem to fit nicely to describe your attire.
