    Shamrock Run - Portland Oregon

For those that would like to know, there were a few Kilts at this years Shamrock Run 15K at Portland Oregon. The weather cooperated on the most part. My son ran with a team of four for this fundraiser for a local hospital. He sent me two photos of him Kilted and as you can see was enthusiastic about being kilted. His first time in public in a Kilt. He reports he had very favorable comments from fellow runners and most men and ladies in the crowd. I am proud of him.

There would have been at least one more kilt there (as a spectator) but my grandson was playing in the semi-finals of a hockey tournament and he can't play his best unless I am there to root for him. (At least, that's the way I see it!)
Studies have shown that women who gain a few pounds live longer than men who mention it.
