    shelter 5k fund raiser

    5k "race"--for us, not exactly. i lift heavy objects in the gym, walk dogs and ride bikes. brisk walk, though, through damaged neighborhoods near lake pontchartrain still recovering from hurricane isaac. i decided to use my ebay sport kilt for its intended purpose and help raise awareness and money for the local battered women's shelter.
