Some wonderful shots there Richard and clever use of photoshop (I assume) for colour and b&w effects.

It's good to see male Highland dancers. They're unfortunately becoming somewhat of a rarity nowadays...

beloitpiper wrote what I was thinking. It's good to see male Highland dancers. The photos remind me that parents who have an interest in Scottish culture must encourage their sons not only to do Highland sports, but Highland dancing as well.

Oh, with a life of dance of over fifty years and having been a demonstration dancer for a number of them, and a one-time Highland Dancer of average ability for a few less, I heartily endorse all that you say.
Beautiful images, Richard. Thank you.
Take care,
Ham.

I'm glad to see that. When I get the chance, I might attempt to learn it.

My son loves dancing, altho for right now he is into Ballet and Tap. We shall see where he goes, but he has my support no matter which way he goes.

I just had a tour of lovely downtown Shotts a couple months ago. We stayed with friends before heading to Dunoon.
