Arrow Show Us Your St. Pat's Kilted Pics (2013)

If you wore a kilt while celebrating Saint Patrick's Day this year, let's see some pics!

I'll start. Here's what I wore last night to a little pre-St. Pat's dinner party with a few friends. The kilt is a Stillwater green shadow tartan, but it looks solid in most light. We had an all-Irish spread consisting of a cheese board, stew, and soda bread. We also had Guinness, Harp, Smithwicks, and 4 types of whiskey to wash it down

That would be the stunning, raven tressed beauty that so often accompanies you in photos.

I began the weekend by treating myself to a movie, then a bite in my favorite food and adult beverage establishment in the same complex (Hooters); followed by dropping into the BevMo! across the street from there to obtain support for the vow of abstinence I'm taking in honor of the blessed Saint: That not a drop of Scottish malt shall pass my lips this entire weekend. This kilt is in one of my clan setts, Douglas Modern.

Tonight (Friday) I attended a pre-St Patrick's Day performance by a local Irish band Father, Son, and Friends. Wore my dark green kilt from Stillwater. On Sunday I will be at the Dublin Pub at least in the afternoon for bands they have on tap. Unfortunately this year rain is forecast and it will not be rather cold. Last two years the weather was great. They have a big tent they put over the entire parking lot. So I should be dry. Not sure if I will wear the same kilt or another one. I have a couple that have a lot of green.

    Mike
