Sixieth Birthday in the Big Apple
Alex's charming thread finally spurred me into organizing the photos from my own recent marking of that milestone. This, incidentally, was entirely due to the kindness of another member of the forum, The McMurray, who even let me use his dress kit.

Here I am, with my PV kilt in the Maple Leaf made by our own McHummel.

Off we head to dinner, my friend in his new Murray of Atholl, recently acquired in Scotland.

The old man holds court, displaying his new stature of wisdom.

The McMurray enjoying his new kilt duds.

Hot as it was that evening, we were having a great time. A fine dinner was next, followed by a great evening at the theater.

A breeze finally showed up!

Parading through Manhattan in a PC.

Hey, doesn't look as bad as I thought.

Happy birthday, friend, but be careful - I've discovered that if you keep having birthdays, you get old!
A wee bit ahead of you on that score - but sincere congratulations!
