Snow!!!!

Merry Christmas from the Tundra of Texas, yall!

Had to do some shoveling today, decided to keep my kilt on after church. This is the first time I've worn it when its really cold outside. I was very pleasantly surprised at how warm and comfortable I was.

We got it down here in Odessa started on Friday this is from yesterday morning finally ended about 3 am this morning this is from yesterday morning. And it started melting off this afternoon.

We've got your Texas weather here in WNC. It's been in the upper 50s-mid 60s for the past week or so. I'll be willing to take some of that snow off your hands.

This reminds me of the episode of "King of the Hill" where a few snowflakes fall and everybody starts crashing their cars into each other.

I do hope no one was injured because of your lucky weather.

You have no idea how accurate that is in the DFW area.

Here in El Paso last week we got about a 1/2 inch of snow. It closed the city down and there was 277 car accidents during the first twelve hours. The safest thing to do is stay home and keep the car in the garage.

From what I've seen, Texans seem to better than most in the snow. It scares us so we drive carefully. I've lived in Colorado and Montana and worked in Wyoming, those guys all go nuts in the snow and wrecks are all over the place! I guess its because they see it a lot and "think" they know how to drive in it. Ha!
