Did you tell the chap in Grand Central that his kilt was on backwards (or perhaps it was pleated all around). What an outfit! :-) Looks like you are having fun and have a great sense of humor.

To be honest, I wasn't exactly sure how to approach the lad in Grand Central but he turned out to be a very pleasant fellow. I didn't have the heart to criticize the outfit he seemed to be enjoying it so much.

Hi, CT – nice pics, plus an interesting side trip into asymmetrical tartan!
I especially liked seeing your daughter in her T-shirt with the clan chief’s arms, and a jacket with his crest badge.
But she will have to wear that kilt without the jeans! But since she’s a lady, no sporran is just fine.
Lovely smile, though.
A cousin of mine married a Buchanan, but as far as I know none of her children wear the tartan. I will have to encourage them!
Regards,
Mike

Thanks Mike - My daughter was giving me a hard time and just threw on the sport kilt and a bunch of our Buchanan merchandise from the tent. All in fun. To be fair to her I'll have to post a picture of her in her kilted skirt - she looks stunning in it.
My entire family wear the tartan very often. My mum was born in Scotland and brought that tradition to the US with her. She had 8 kids and with the grand children, GGChildren and GGGChildren now there is about 80 of us here so when we all get together its a pretty colorful event!

Hi, CT – it seems there are many more pictures you will have to show us – your daughter (was that her with the Buchanan plaid over her shoulder among the dancers?) and the Buchanan rabble of your (American) sub-clan!
I look forward to seeing them!
Regards,
Mike
