Some Snowy Kilting Pics
Some snowy pics after a day of sledding. Thought some people might get a kick out of these. They were taken with a camera phone so they're pretty grainy. I'm wearing a black workman's UK.

Yes, that's me on a sled. The crazy thing is that I stayed relatively warm the whole time!

I finally got these pics from a friend of mine, so I'm posting them for the amusement of other members (and to demonstrate the ability of the kilt to adapt to different enviroments )

I'm always regimental, so yeah, that was done regimental. Which was okay until I was thrown from my sled. Horrible things happened and THEN it was COLD. But I got over it soon partly because of the kilt's warmness, and partly because I started to go numb (you can see in one of the pictures that there's snow frozen to my eyebrows and to my legs). Hey, regimental... regi-MENTAL. Hey! I am mental! Ha!

Yeah, it's a kick in the kilt, nix. Let me tell you a story, I actually cringe just thinking about it. I was going down on a sled and I ended up losing control and crashing. After I crashed I ended up with my head towards the bottom of the hill and my feet towards the top, a lot of snow ended up in the sled and the snow slid quite well in the sled since it's made of plastic. All of the snow ended up sliding into my kilt. Have you ever had your breath taken away by a sudden shock? Oh yeah. Pure shock. To give you an idea of just how cold it was, as I was going up the hill my friend remarked that I actually had ICICLES hanging from the back if my kilt. I had laid still for so long as I tried to regain my breath that the snow that melted underneath me actually FROZE to my kilt.

Looks like you had a lot of fun.
Here in Norway we are having one of the most snow free winters on record with un-seasonally high temp's. It was fun to see what we are missing
