Spring Outing
On Tuesday 12th Feb, took a little drive down to Troon on the Ayrshire Coast. I felt like I was on holiday. This is the Troon Yacht Haven.

Can anyone tell me how to get rid of the img text either side of the photos
Unless it's obvious, but perhaps not, although I still shoot on good old fashioned film, I save the negs to CD. So I'm half digital.
Busy at the timber yard. Lovely smell of sawdust in the air.[IMG] [/IMG]
The Troon skyline. Not a tower block in sight.

Lovely pics; I llved in Troon from 1978 to 1980; used to see the Arran hills and the ships on the Clyde when I opened my bedroom curtains in the morning - couldn't afford to move back there - now that the railway has been electrified and the road improved Troon has become a much easier commute from Glasgow and the house prices have gone crazy.

You bet. I love Troon, and a couple of years back I priced a 2 bedroomed flat overlooking the water priced at o/o 200,000. Not quite Monte Carlo I thought.

Here's a big secret. Once you copied your photo and I'm assuming you are using Photobucket, just paste it on the page without inserting it into the 'insert image'' box.
Or as I did until I found out the secret delete the double' image' before and after the photo pasting.
Nice photos!

Lovely pictures - the Ayrshire coast is part of Scotland I have yet to explore.

Here's another couple of pics to add of Troon as I've really got the hang of this posting lark now.
War Memorial

Yacht Marina

Shore Line

It's thanks to you folks for the advice. Watch out, there's no stopping me now.
