St. Andrew's Day '15
Since the kilt is plain khaki, the shirt is Stewart black tiny. ;)
Note my new Balmoral bonnet. Yep, that's a clan badge on it--Stewart of Atholl.
Also my very warm Cabela's knee to toe wader socks.
Slainte!

Another upside down outfit... I like it!

St. Andrew's Day
We wish all of you a blessed St. Andrew's Day, a national holiday in Scotland. St. Andrew, the first-called Apostle, is the patron saint of Scotland, Greece, and Russia. Here we are today after church, in Steve's Armstrong Ancient tartan.

I'm wearing Macneil of Barra. I work in a warehouse, so I can't wear a kilt to work; some silly safety regulations or some such. Also have the clan crest on the side of my flat cap.

I've no idea if they're any good, don't smoke myself (anymore), but the pun was just too bad to pass up.
Only $12 on Ebay. There were a few at the festival awhile back that were confused, "But it's not a balmoral. . . "

I agree - and well done. I had to research a little. It's probably a very good smoke, company is Dutch, but tobacco is mostly Dominican, with some Nicaragua and Brazil mixed in - good combo.

What parish is this, and what is the location? That looks like an icon of Saint Elizabeth off to the left of the Theotokos. Also, I'm loving the Armstrong tartan, though I prefer the modern version.

Yesterday was the first wearing for the hand knit hose that was handed down to me by Vanessa's grandfather. I thought as it was the closest Sunday to St. Andrews Day it was appropriate for me to wear the kilt to church today. I decided to wear the Royal Naval Association tartan which I had woven up in memory of my uncle Murdy, I am also wearing his cufflinks and the hand knit hose from Vanessa's grandfather with the ABF tie my Burns Check jacket and the Artificer Custom Sporran with a hand made day wear sqian dubh.
