St Lawrence Market
This morning I was awoken at the ungodly hour (on the weekend anyway) of 6:00am, so that we could make our way down to St. Lawrence Market. We ended up getting fresh meat fresh pasta, that they cut in front of you, etc. It was amazing to me today that wherever we went all I got were compliments and people asking about the kilt, even the busker who was fiddling stopped to tell me how much he admired the kilt and me for wearing it. I was able to tell one gent about X-Marks, he gave me his card so I will send him an email with the website address, he was wearing his Balmoral with a swatch of Maple Leaf tartan behind his cap badge. Just as we were headed out there was a vendor with Coronation Street merchandise and other things from the UK. While I was standing there looking at their wares a young boy of about 10 or 11 came up and said cool kilt. All in all a good day at the market, after that it was up to Henry's to look at a DSLR. Here are a couple shots.
The busker

And hopefully a new member

He said if he had known he'd have worn his kilt, I told him that's why I wear mine all the time I'm, always ready for something.

Any time is a wonderful time to wear a kilt.
Your tartan is lovely as well.

It's amazing how many kilt owners say if only they had known they were going to meet another kilt wearer that they would have worn theirs!

I love wearing the Kilt at those type of places, you made me feel I was there.

Good shots, Glen. I saw the St. Lawrence market building from the outside when I was in Toronto last year but I didn't have time to visit it.

Hi Glen, I hate getting up early. St Law Mkt is a great place to shop. Did you decide on a DSLR camera?
