St. Patrick's Day - Okinawa, Japan

Every year the city of Koza in Okinawa, JP hosts a St. Paddy's Day festival.
I got there a little late and missed the pipers, but here are some pics of the what went on. Excuse the flat-cap and white 'hose', i thought it was fitting for the event and I'm between Balmorals right now so....

    Oh nice,
It seems there a few of us around here, Foster as well as Kadena. Well, I would say it's time for a kilt night but I leave here in about 2 weeks, after four years on the Rock. As you're new though if you have any questions or concerns about your tour here feel free to PM me. Best of luck!

Wow, Okinawa. Cool! I just had to reply to this one. I spent half of my childhood there. I don't recall any St. Patrick's Day festivals when I was there; of course, that was '59 thru '64.

Went to the first thru fourth grades at a school called Sukiran Elementary (I think that's how to spell it) . And it's still there, I found it on google!

Thanks for the pics. BTW - It wasn't even part of Japan when I was there.
