St Patrick's dinner
Had a nice evening at a local golf club dinner. I piped in the guests as they arrived, then they invited me inside for a final tune. The dinner guests passed the hat without my knowledge and the hostess tried to hand me a fat wad of cash. I thanked everyone in the crowd and said that was very kind, but please donate the money to the American Legion instead. I think that meant something to all the old vets in the room. Good stuff.

A thoughtful gift from you. Thank you. It seems you were the only one surprised by a normal idea of sincere charity.

Your Kilt
Judging from you profile info, your kilt is a USA Casual? If so, it just goes to show how fine a USA Kilt casual looks. Looking good.

Yes, the Legion can always do some good.
Yes, that's my USAK Casual. An 8 yard wool is something I'll probably never be able to justify spending the money on, but you never know if a great deal may come along someday when I can do it, but this kilt does me good every time I wear it.
