Starting young!
I couldn't resist posting this picture that was in our local newspaper (Victoria Times Colonist) this morning. He is Rowan Miller, age 2, with his practice chanter, "warming up" with the Shelby County Sheriff's Pipe Band in Memphis, Tennessee.

Maybe, if I had started at his age, I could play the darn thing 70 odd years later! Great picture!

Wish I could persuade my grandson of that, his first kilt went unworn, we have not tried again since - he has a mind of his own.
If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!

Craigclan,
At 36yo you still beat me. I got my first kilt at 56yo. I definitely do not plan on waiting another 56 years for the next one.
