    Still owe you some pictures

    Got to making some photos on sunday.

    1st: 16oz tweed, 8 yards
    2nd: Black Isle, 16oz wool, 6 yards

    socks: Burberry knee-socks

    adiitionally some close-ups

    I'll second that jacket compliment, although I like the contrasts with both jackets against the kilts. Also, the bamboo-shanked briar is a nice touch ;-) Is that a Stanwell, by chance?

    Looking good. The socks go well with both kilts.

    With the country you're right. It's a Karsten Tarp handmade, but i have several Stanwells with bamboo shank, but they are hard to get nowadays.

    The 2nd jacket is tan raw leather, that I have for several years. The 1st is a regular tweed jacket I bought in a short size to fit better with a kilt.

    Thanks, the only problem with the socks is, they don't have a regular turnover, so I have to turn them down and then again up to get the outside to the front. Therefor I can't use flashes with them, and one did wander south while making the pictures.
