Stirling Castle Pictures #4
I posted my own pictures a few weeks ago but have now received pictures that were taken of me (and friend Andrew) by our guide Bill. Please forgive the knees - I had an outbreak of eczema on them at the time but it has since cleared up!
Andrew and me in the Sergeant's Mess which is not open to the public but is to guides.

Another picture in the Mess.

In the pub just by the Castle at lunchtime. Cheers!

Me at the Bruce statue when we were heading back to the Castle after lunch.

Me regally seated on the throne in the Stewart Palace.

Me in the Palace Chapel.

Me (carefully!) seated on a gun.

Great pics McClef, thanks for posting them, you really have to be careful when sitting on a gun I guess.

Way cool pic of you on the throne If you ever head back there I'd love a clear picture of that red alter cloth in the chapel.

In a democracy it's your vote that counts; in feudalism, it's your Count that votes.

Well they hadn't back in February Arlen, there was still a lot of renovation going on then. They were still weaving tapestries that will be hung in the Palace also.

Well sitting on cold metal in February requires careful positioning and also one was trying to prevent any sneaky up kilt shots!
And if I get back later in the year will try to get a better altar cloth shot for Dirk.
