We were unable to get to Stonehenge this year to see the sunrise but we did spend Sat eve up in the waterfall country of the brecon beacons national park with some members of our folk club to celebrate the day. Here are a few pics ... On fri eve our band The JCB played at the club .. Sat we all starting meeting up at a spot a few miles from where we were going to celebrate We were soon setting up camp and roasting Marsh mallows The sun started to go down And then the music started .. We partied until the early hours and then came home ... Thats it Iechyd Da Derek

We had an evening of community festivities in Drenthe, where the megaliths are, then drummed through the night, had breakfast and dispersed. There was a nice fire and the atmosphere was festive and intimate, with about 20 drummers sharing this Midsummer Drumming.
