    Tartan Birthday Cake

I just turned 40 and my wife surprised me with a Campbell Tartan birthday cake! The bakery did a great job with the colors - I thought the cake was really cool & it tasted great too! Sorry, I'm a loser and was not kilted in these pictures. I will be kilted tomorrow.

Here are some pics of the cake:

    What an incredible idea!!

That's a talented cake artist to be able to do tartan in frosting.

Thank you! I was really impressed, the whole concept for the cake was her idea. She actually took my Campbell Ancient kilt and photocopied part of the front flap & took it to the bakery.

BTW, my wife is the lovely redhead on my left in the group picture

Happy Birthday! That is a great cake.

I'm not buying that group of people, though. The aggregate attractiveness makes your pictures look like a wine ad. Totally unfair.

Thanks all - and yes, the belt was edible - even the buckle!

Here's a close-up of the cake so you can see the tartan better:

That is so fun. Had to be done with some type of photo imaging.
