Tartan Day Celebration Murfreesboro,TN
I was a beautiful day for a Tartan Day Celebration in Murfreesboro, TN. It was a small group but was nice to see old friends and make new ones. I had the pleasure of meeting our own SoulFyre77 (Adam) and his family yesterday.
This was my setup. I went with born books on clans and tartans rather than Barclay. I figured I would more likely be helping folks look for their own tartan rather than meeting Barclays.

Here's Adam getting a lesson on spinning and weaving.

And lastly we had a group of young highland dancers to provide some entertainment.

I'm not too sure what Tartan Day is although I suppose I can guess. I attended the games in Murfreesboro in October 2001 (a month or so after 9/11) which was a great if slightly muted affair.
Glad to see that the kilt is still going strong. Do you know the Kasches?
The 'Eathen in his idleness bows down to wood and stone,
'E don't obey no orders unless they is his own,
He keeps his side arms awful,
And he leaves them all about,
Until up comes the Regiment and kicks the 'Eathen out.

I think we might have had this conversation before. Is this the pastor of the St Patricks Episcipal Church? I have some friends who attend his church, but I have not had the pleasure of meeting him. At least not to my knowledge.
