    Celebrating National Tartan day

    I got all kilted up this afternoon and stopped at the nursery not far from my house, before walking about the town centre. I stopped at two of my favourite shops to share a wee dram of Laphroaig's Brodir with the shop owners......both of these fellows are like me and have a nice collection of single malts so I knew I would get a smile from them when I walked into their shops to tell them it was National Tartan and we should salute Canada's choice of the Maple Leaf tartan

    Flew home from company meetings in Washington, DC kilted last night, connecting through the Atlanta airport.

    Good thing I was wearing nine yards of wool, since it is only 30 degrees at home in Wisconsin!
