In his "Kilt Giveaway" thread, he selected my father-in-law as one of the guys to receive a kilt, knowing it would be a Father's Day gift. Well, the packages were opened, and phone calls made. It went over very well and was most well received. This is the first time he's been kilted. He was so excited, he had to put it all on and run outside to pose for a photo. Please be kind. Many photos were taken on our part and put together into a quick email "how to put it on" lesson from Mickey. And, a phone call was made, just to be sure he didn't go anywhere, at least without knowing the bare minimum of "the crinkly bit goes in the back."

Who cares which way they go . . . as long as they go. There is plenty of time to work out the details, but you gotta get 'em kilted first. And this looks like a great first kilt for your dad-in-law. Heck, great kilt for anyone. Congratulations on the kilt and I have put a mark on the wall to remind myself of CDNSushi's great generosity!
Well... If you don't know, you don't know. At least he knows now. CDNSushi. A generous gesture indeed. Nice one!
Thanks for the photo update! I'm glad your father-in-law liked his Father's Day gift! It's great that I was able to give someone who has served your country (and by extension, ours) in such substantial ways a small token of friendship. I hope he wears it with pride! Kilt on!
