Greg posted here: http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/o...414/index.html about removing the third strap and buckle from his WPG Gordon. Well I have the same kilt and it fit me to snug in the seat also and I'm not a big guy like Greg. It also appeared to me that the third strap was pulling the apron somewhat making the stripes cock-eyed (it drove me crazy). So this morning I removed my third strap/buckle and presto, my WPG kilt fits so much better. The kilts hangs nicely now and the front apron is starting to straighten out, I'm very happy. Thanks Greg for the great idea!

I'm glad that helped! Yeah, WPG kilts seem to be made more like cylinders rather than cones. They don't take into account that my butt is slightly larger than my waist.

By removing the third strap the kilt seems to drap the contours of your body better, making for a better fit.
I'm trying that I'll let you know what I think.
I am going to order one so thanks for the tip!!

Sounds like we have more converts to the 2-strapped kilt. Slainte yall, steve
Looks good, yeah I just got an SWK Standard, and I already kinda dislike the third strap.
