Hi guys
Just a wee photo from my sister in laws wedding of three generations of Kelmans. Myself on the left my son in my arms and my dad to the right. You will note the my dad and I are wearing different tartans. With our surname being Kelman we have the choice of Aberdeen district which at the time of us buying new kilts 22 years ago was very hard to come buy. So since my middle name is MacClure mothers name I went for MacCleod and my dad being half Hardie went for Farquharson.
We have now done much research on our own name, seems to be of Pictish origin, and our natural area is Aberdeenshire ie where my grandad came from. So I have decided to save up for a new kilt in the district tartan as my kilt is now 22 years old been through many a rugby match pub crawl dancing and if I am honest it is now a little tight. So that's me a newbie saying hello too.
