    travel east

I went to boston to see my daughter who works at the boston national park system. On our first day she had taken time off so we went to salem. I have sung in the opera The Crucible (yes it is same as the play by Arthur Miller which is sad because he apparently won't let a word be cut from it so it is the same length word wise. I like the music but the crucible is long enough as a play. adding the time people need to sing the text makes it an incredibly long evening. However if you have the stamina it's worth the time) I did do study on the witch trials while I was preparing for the performances so was excited to visit the place.

me at custom house. My daughter had to endure my constant line quoting from The Pirates of Penzance as Fredrick the pirate apprentice hears for the first time woman's voices "Can it be custom house? No it doesn't sound like custom house."
We didn't go into the house of the seven gables but they had a spooky tree
