A Trip to our Local ....

Woke up yesterday morning and the sun was blazing. Should have worked in the studio on our new album with the band, but we both decided it was to nice and we were suffering from red cow withdrawal symptoms. This is a little place we try and get to a few times a month, although we haven't been for nearly two now due to this recording thingy business.
So please join us on a typical day out to the red cow and surrounds ….
Two buses and just over an hour later we start our trek down lanes, fields n sty's…

Which eventually brings you to here …

A lovely spot to linger … only noise was a bumble bee

Then along the waterside and a bit more countryside

There are some fab stone walls on route .. I just love this one ..

A wide view pic of one of the views

And then we head down a small road to a little village … the building to the right of the red car is where we are heading

    And here we are

    Its exceptionally cosy inside …

The folk are really friendly, always real good guest ales and fab pub grub …

They even sell eggs from one of the locals gardens

Thats it .. if you were with us I would have bought you a pint .... by the time we left the pub was crammed packed inside and outside ... the chap with the hat on at the bar was playing a guitar and singing away with friends outside when we left ...

Great pictures... looks like a great spot for lunch. How long does it take you to get there?

Wonderful pictures Derek; through them, you took us with you on that treck. For that I thank you. It's unfortunate that I couldn't share a beer with you at the end of that virtual tour.
