    two kilts - one day

    Our Synod camp holds a fundraising event each year entitled "run the lane" to raise money for camperships for youth who cannot afford to attend camp. When I announced the event to my congregation I also announced that I would run the lane kilted. Some of the folk were disappointed that they would not see me in a kilt; so I decided to kilt up for worship in my dress rig before putting on my x-kilt for the run.

    So here you have it:
    - yes I do wear my kilt to work (although when I put on my preaching gown you really can't tell);
    - these photos meet Alan h's challenge to be kilted and sweaty;
    - and it was St. Columba Day to boot! All Presbyterians should kilt up for that one.

    Way to go father! Great commitment to the kilt, to helping others, and to the gospel.
    I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

    In the picture of the 4 of you, you look, by far, the most comfortably dressed.

    Instead of preaching to the choir, it looks like you get to preach over them!

    LOL...hopefully that's the only reason the preaching goes over their heads!

    Well done.... great pictures. I particularly like the picture of you in your"dress rig" in front of the pipe organ.
